When TIKI first came out, it advertised itself as a better control for the consumer & for the consumers to have better power & control of their data. Instead, now TIKI's business model is pointed at Corporate interests instead of Consumer interests. When they realized they wouldn't make as much money defending the little guy, they up and left. Thanks TIKI, you rock.

The original tenants of TIKI are still applicable to our current business model. None of this works without users taking claim of their data and making informed decisions as to how it is used or not used.

We’ve always been upfront and transparent that the issue with user data is the current economic structure, where data is taken, not willingly contributed. This has 100% been our mission and continues to be our mission. The only difference is instead of a dedicated TIKI app, TIKI is used through someone else’s app/website.

When we talked to consumers we found they preferred managing data within the apps and sites they already used as opposed to managing another separate application. We also found that by this pivot we can empower millions more consumers than if we were to try to do this all on our own.
