TIKI Talk Episode 38 is debatably the most transparent 85 minutes in start-up podcast history.

We can’t actually verify if this is an accurate statement, as we haven’t listened to a ton of other start-up podcasts, but we already know most people don’t do things the way we do them, and most aren’t nearly as transparent about taking the behind-the-scenes rollercoaster ride that is being a start-up company and making that journey public facing.

This is certainly our most transparent podcast yet.

Seemingly on the doorstep of closing our seed round, a major potential investor dropped TIKI out of current consideration at the “eleventh hour,” and forced the TIKI team to reassess and reprioritize—and fast.

With nearly all facets of the TIKI project either directly or indirectly affected by this news, Mike and Shane sit down to talk about what happened, how we’re reacting, and what to expect moving forward.

Tune in for a rare and insightful glimpse into the lives of startup founders.

Enjoy!
