TIKI Talk Episode 34 continues the theme of internal TIKI interviews with our own Commercial Lead “Blockchain Barry” O’Connor flying all the way into Nashville from Dublin exclusively for this 70-minute edition of the TIKI Talk podcast.

Kidding; he was here for two weeks to get into the nitty gritty of the TIKI DAO (which we’ll dig into in a future podcast, I’m sure).

Barry was brought into this world sometime in the Middle Paleolithic era where he was a housecavehold name as a renowned hunter-gatherer. A short period later, he came as an advisor in the blockchain space for TIKI after getting connected with Mike on AngelList, and soon after joined the team full time, working predominantly on the commercialization of TIKI’s data marketplace.

Join Shane and Barry as Barry discusses his previous business endeavors, including investment banking, equity trading, working with ISPs, e-business, mobile CEM, independent consultancy, and collecting berries and nuts for the long, harsh winter.

We also dive into why Barry wanted to get involved with TIKI, his everlasting curiosity, his love for his wife and daughters, his reflections on his past, and Barry gives advice to his younger self.
